What kind of media institutions might distribute your media product and why?

I would chose Bauer Media to publish my magazine as it operates in 15 countries world wide making it a hugely successful company. Their publish two of the most well known music magazines ; 'Q' and "Kerrang'. This highlights that they know a lot about the music industry and categorize their target audience successfully suiting one magazine, like Kerrang, to a younger audience and Q to a more sophisticated/mature audience. My aim was to create a sophisticated approach as Bauer do with Q but incorporate elements such as social media links in order to also attract a younger audience. They also work with big name artists as well as up and coming artists something I deem very important as I think it is almost crucial to introduce and showcase new artists just as much as successful artists not only to give them a chance but to attract new audiences henceforth more customers/buyers. They also own television channel 'The Box' and radio stations such as Kiss FM and Magic, this is a big media platform which could aid advertisement of my magazine.I would distribute my magazine in both shops but also release online issues to purchase making it not only highly accessible and convenient but up to date with the advancement of technology, henceforth appealing to a younger audience.
