Magazine Idea's

The following cover pages, contents pages and double page spreads include elements i would like to incorporate in my own design. Some of the images you may have seen previously on my blog because they have a very strong influence over my ideas and designs.

 

Mise-en-scene

I like the idea of a white background on the cover page with only one dominant image. The colors all vary however the color of the writing always links with the masthead of the magazine. All the magazine covers include artists wearing black or dark clothing, they also all have serious facial expressions. There is also use of props which may be good to incorporate into my own design as they add to the ominous tone of the cover image.
